Now Hiring a Professional Fitness Trainer

We will train a great candidate.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated, “certified nice person” who is on a professional career path in fitness training and high-level sports performance. This individual will have an opportunity to work with a great staff of professionals with over 40 years of experience in health, fitness, and sports performance in one of the top golf fitness/performance facilities in the Southwest.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must:

  • Be seeking a career as a fitness professional
  • Be a Certified Nice Person (CNP)
  • Be ready, willing, and able to Get Stuff Done (GSD)
  • Hold a Certification as a Personal Trainer or higher by an organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA), including, but not limited to, NSCA, NASM, ACSM, ACE
  • Desire working with and training athletes and individuals of various ages and stages
  • Hold a current CPR-AED certification

PREFERRED

Has:

  • Industry-related college degree
  • Two years’ experience in one-on-one and/or semi-private (2-6 individuals) training
  • Experience in training program design, with basic knowledge or higher of digital fitness training programs
  • A Titleist Performance Institute Fitness Professional Certification Level 1 or higher
  • A Functional Movement Screen Certification, Level 1 or higher
  • Golf clubs and uses them
  • A USGA GHIN #        
  • A working knowledge of, or desire to learn, golf performance technology – 2D and 3D Motion Capture, Launch Monitors, Force Plates
  • Proficiency in Mindbody, Bridge Athletic, Word, Excel, social media platforms

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential functions include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Conducts in-depth interviews of a client’s history, motivation, and goals
  • Conducts physical movement and fitness assessments
  • Collaborates with other golf and fitness coaches to best serve the client’s golf and personal development
  • Facilitates the development of a relevant, unique training program based on assessment results and goals
    Coaches semi-private training sessions
  • Coaches one-on-one personal training sessions
    Maintains a professional demeanor and appearance at all times while showing a commitment to the Motus Performance Mission, Vision, and Core Values
    Demonstrates effectiveness in client retention
  • Creates a 5-star customer experience by going above and beyond for each client, anticipating their needs
    Completes all necessary daily operations
  • Performs other duties as assigned
